Harlem Globetrotters
Objective
The Harlem Globetrotters perform over 400 live events every year in over 100 countries worldwide. We were tasked with creating an app that users would be able to use as a companion to learn about their favorite players while at a show but could still return to after the show.
Our first release was in November 2018, just in time for the start of their World Tour. We added the second game and additional features in a second release about a month later.
Role
As lead designer, I worked with HGI to ensure designs reflected the updated branding and new designs of jerseys that were coming out that season.
Their team filmed videos of featured players that we were able to use in onboarding and player biographies to make content more engaging. Our agency team also partnered with an augmented reality agency to concept two games to bring into the app.
